Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan, now the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, joined This is Football with Kevin Clark this week for a lengthy conversation.
At one point, Clark asked Callahan which play from over the last few years from Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow made him go "holy crap".
Callahan pointed out a play from the 2021 season that he described as "one of the coolest plays" that he's ever seen.
"The play just on his physical ability alone was, we were playing in San Francisco in 2021 at home," said Callahan. "And he bailed out of the pocket -- this was just his ability, just his timing, his accuracy. The pocket gets muddy, he starts out one direction and wheels back out to the right. And Ja'Marr (Chase) is running across the end zone....he just puts the ball with touch kind of into the back of the end zone. And the ball is halfway there and Ja'Marr hasn't even put his foot in the ground to react to it. And all of a sudden, he just puts his foot down, comes back, and he catches it like three feet off the ground. It was one of the most incredible plays between the two of those guys."
"That was by far the one of the coolest plays I've ever seen," added Callahan.
Here's the play.

It doesn't get much better than that.
That's what it looks like when two elite athletes, who are some of the best in the world at their sport, are on the same page in a gotta-have-it moment.
