The Portland Trail Blazers fired President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey on Friday. Olshey was determined to have created a toxic atmosphere within the workplace.
Portland appointed Joe Cronin to the role, but only in the interim. Now, the Blazers will begin searching for a replacement. Two names have popped up as potential candidates. One of those names is Bulls general manager Marc Eversley, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

Eversley, together with Executive Vice President of Operations Arturas Karnisovas, has been instrumental in elevating the Bulls franchise from a perennial doormat into an Eastern Conference contender. The Bulls currently sit second in the East with a 15-8 record.
There is currently no timetable for the Blazers announcing a new President and they have yet to formally approach Marc Eversley. But with how strong the early returns of Eversley’s work in Chicago look, it’s not surprising to see his name in consideration.
